Garlic bulbs are a favorite in gardens because they are flavorful and simple to grow. It develops from individual cloves of an entire bulb. In the ground, each clove multiplies to produce a new bulb with 5–10 cloves. Create your own garlic by growing it, then roast it in the oven, put it on fresh bread, or use it in your favorite family recipes! Plant on light sandy soil in the early spring after adding compost or manure to improve it.
